KOHAN, JUSTINA “Jo” “Josephine” 93, St. Benedict, passed away August 18, 2019. Born December 13, 1925, in Johnstown, the daughter of George and Pearl (Malinchak) Glova. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Peter Kohan; daughter, Kathy Saylor; brothers, Michael, Sam, George, and John Glova; and sisters, Nellie Baresky, Ann Febba and Olga Kohan. Survived by son, George Kohan (Vicky Holtz), Patton; daughter, Colleen (Jody) Garcia, Cumming, GA; nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Helen Moody, Dayton, Ohio. Member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Conemaugh, PA; Ladies Auxiliary of St. Benedict VFW; and the Ebensburg Democratic Women’s Club. “Jo” was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished spending time surrounded by her family. Friends will be received from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where Parastas will begin at 5:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. Friday and continues following a procession to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Very Rev. George Johnson, celebrant. Committal, church cemetery.
