Esther Lois McMillan

Esther Lois McMillan passed away August 18, 2019 in Graham at the age of 92 years. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in McAdams (Pickwick) Cemetery in Palo Pinto County, Texas. She was born April 29, 1927 in Sandpoint, Idaho and moved to South Bend, Texas as a child. She was raised by her grandparents George and Eldora Palmer in the McClusky Hotel in South Bend. She married William Andrew McMillan on January 5, 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1996. She was also preceded in death by two sons, William Roy McMillan and Charles Edward McMillan and by two brothers, Roy Hubbard and S.P Hubbard. She was a member of the Salem-Crestview United Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Dan McMillan and wife Carol; daughter, Patricia McKnight; 9 grandchildren, Sidney Kelly, Kelly Noakes, Margaret McMillan, Sara McMillan, Matt McMillan, Lane McMillan, Heather Pearson, Ryan Gordy and Patrick Cantrell; 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; sister in law, Mattie Hubbard and daughter in law, Sally McMillan-Dengerud. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, PO Box 190567, Dallas, TX 75219-0567.
