Woodrow W. Deiter Jr. of Halifax, Pa. (Carsonville) passed away Sunday August 18, 2019. He was born September 12, 1942 at Jackson Twp. to the late Woodrow W. and Margaret E. Schell Deiter Sr., was a Army Veteran, a graduate of the former Elizabethville High School Class of 1960 and a former member of Carsonville Vol. Fire Company. He enjoyed coin collecting, fishing, hunting and loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Woodrow is survived by his wife Carolyn M. Pounds Deiter, sons Allan E. and wife Marjorie, Brian M. and Melinda, grandchildren Michael, Kyle, Emily, Amanda, Trevor, Alex, Malana and Karlie, nine great grandchildren, a brother Robert and a sister Denise. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Daniel and a brother Larry. Honoring Woodrow’s wishes there are no service scheduled.
