Mrs. Martha G. Childers age 55 of Monteagle, Tennessee passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. She was born in Altamont, to the late Golan and Marguerite Childers. Martha loved caring for others and worked in the medical field for many years. Most of all she loved her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter Jessica (Kenneth) Reed, lifelong friend Raymond Earl Campbell, father of Jessica; sisters, Sharon (Travis) Turner and daughter, Sara Beth Turner, Joy (John) Butner and sons, Matthew and Kevin Butner, Lynn (Jimmy) Williams and children, Jennifer Childers and Evan Stiefel, Ann (Dewayne) Seagroves and their son, Austin McHone, Pam (Jody) Scott and their children, Cain and Rain Higgins and Seth Scott, Anthony (Angie) Childers, their children Tiffany Anderson and Joshua Childers. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Thursday, August 22, 2019 in the funeral chapel with Brother Chad Smith officiating. Burial will be at Bonny Oak Cemetery.
