Alma Pierson died Sunday, August 18, 2019 in Farwell. She was born May 30, 1929 in Silverton, Texas to Alwin H. and Willie W. (Martin) Dudley. She married Dee Wayne Pierson in Plainview, Texas on December 5, 1948.

Alma was a homemaker and was a Sunday School teacher all of her life. She sent birthday cards to all of her friends and family. Alma was an avid reader and enjoyed word puzzles. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dee in 2002; her parents; one son, Jerry Pierson; one granddaughter, D’Ann Pierson; six sisters, Lenora Pierson, Fay Harmon, Dora Biggerstaff, Lurine Dudley, Nita Holland and Jimmie Crabtree; and one brother, Homer Dudley.

Alma is survived by her son, Steve Pierson and his wife, Bobbie of Oklahoma Lane, Texas; her three daughters, Sharon Eubanks and her husband, Max of Paris, Texas, Jo Eubanks and her husband, Gary of DeKalb, Texas and Brenda Yarbrough; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
