William "Billy" Weimer Obituary

William “Billy” C. Weimer, 65, of Cromwell passed away September 22, 2015 in Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center after a very long battle with cancer. He was born in Cloquet to his parents, Harry and Frances Weimer of Cromwell. Billy grew up in Cromwell and attended Cromwell/Wright school. After graduation he served two years in the Army. He then started driving truck which he loved doing. He worked for Graffco in Forest Lake, Transport America, Torkelson Brothers of Grafton, ND and Anderson Logging of Cromwell, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Ron Koivisto, and great niece, Sky Rinta. Billy is survived by his wife, Jeanne Weimer of North Carolina; sister, Judy Koivisto of Cromwell; daughters, Amanda (Jim) Heinonen of Superior, Shawnette (Eddie) Bolen of Duluth, and Billy Jo (Ben) Weimer of Faribault; sons, Josh Oliver of Cromwell and Jared, Michael, Brandon and Bradley Oliver, all of North Carolina; 12 grandchildren; beloved nieces, cousins, and best friends, Kurt (Linda) Haugan and Tommy (Lea) Anderson. Visitation will be from 5:00 until the 6:00 p.m. Memorial Service, Monday, September 28, 2015 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
