Martha Horn

Martha Irene Horn, age 76 of Grundy, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tennessee. Born July 17, 1943, at Grundy, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late David Crockett Bowman and Susin Charles Bowman. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Junior Bowman and Elmer Bowman; sisters, Goldie McDaniels, Faye Hawks, Allene Stiltner and Eva Ward. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: Three Sons Tony Boyd of Raven, Virginia Greg Boyd and wife Anna Ray of Vansant, Virginia Kelly Boyd and wife Traci of Vansant, Virginia Three Grandsons Aaron Boyd of Vansant, Virginia Logan Boyd and wife Savannah of Vansant, Virginia Zachary Boyd of Raven, Virginia Two Granddaughters Kacee Boyd of Vansant, Virginia Alexis Boyd of Raven, Virginia Great-Granddaughter Lyla Boyd Three Brothers Luther Bowman and wife Dorothy of Keen Mountain, Virginia Casby Bowman of Florida Roby Bowman of Council, Virginia Funeral services for Martha Irene Horn will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019, 1:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home Chapel at Grundy, Virginia, with Howard Owens officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountain Valley Memorial park at Big Rock, Virginia. The family will receive friends Saturday evening August 17, 2019, 6:00 P.M. at the Virginia Funeral Home. A service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Serving as Pallbearers will be Family and friends. Virginia Funeral Home of Grundy, Virginia is in charge of the arrangements.
