Benjamin Natoli Brooklyn, New York Obituary

Benjamin Natoli

Benjamin “Benny” L. Natoli (August 28, 1928 – August 15, 2019) was born in Queens, NY to Pasquale and Rose Natoli. One of five children, he was part of a fun-loving Italian family. The family moved to Brooklyn where Benny attended high school and began working in the family photography business, Natoli Studios. Benny married Mildred Accolla on July 24th, 1954 and they had a son, Benjamin. Around this time, he opened his own branch of Natoli Studios on 13th Avenue in Dyker Heights where he photographed many of the New York diocese schools over the years. He captured countless First Communions, Confirmations, graduations and weddings, thus memorializing many happy occasions and milestones in people’s lives. He was an active and well-respected member of his local community, sharing his generous spirit and sense of humor with everyone he met. Benny lived life on his own terms, enjoying time with his family and often going on adventures to Atlantic City with his close friends Marianne and Nacho. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Benny is survived by son Benjamin, daughter-in-law Lucy, as well as his beloved grandchildren Benjamin, Ariana, Alessa, and Olivia, and his brother Frank Natoli.
