Edna Earl Rue Lansing Went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the age of 81. Born July 30, 1938 to Luther and Mary (Jones) Hilliard in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Edna enjoyed collecting Beanie Babies and teddy bears. She liked Elvis Presley music, playing bingo and card games such as poker. Edna liked bowling and traveling to the casino. She also enjoyed her dog, Nikki. Preceding her in death were her husband, Bobby Rue Sr.; daughter, Angela Rue; son, Bobby Rue Jr.; sisters, Louise Gann, Barbara White, Patty Maxey, Brenda Evans, as well as her parents. Surviving are her daughter, Pamela (Roy) Taylor; grandchildren, Bobby (Christie) Rue III, Jennifer (Rich Hinton) Taylor, Anthony (Carrie) Rue, Josh (Kristi) Taylor, Matt Rue, Jody (Sonny) Villwock; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; sister, Frankie Gann; brother, Butch (Janet) Hilliard as well as many extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. Family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service.
