After a lengthy, stoic and courageous battle with cancer, Dan passed away peacefully on August 14, 2019 at the Hospice of Erie Shores in Leamington, with his loving wife at his side. Beloved husband of Yvonne with whom he just celebrated 30 years of marriage. Dear brother of Jan, Carol and Patrick and the late Victor, Bud and Gord and all of their families. Brother-in-law of Donna. Dan will also be greatly missed by his rescued feline family. Dan worked for the City of Calgary for many years and moved to Leamington, Ontario in his retirement, where he enjoyed the “balmy” weather and the proximity to his family. While in Calgary, Dan was an avid camper who thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors. If you so desire, donations may be made to the Hospice of Erie Shores Leamington or a Cat Rescue Society of your choice.
