Rebecca Jane Gilbreath born June 26, 1934 to Purvis and Carrie Stafford, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in Jacksonville. She was 85 years old. Rebecca married Carroll Dean Gilbreath in 1965. She moved to the Jacksonville community in 1988 and she retired from Astro Air Plant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Dean; son, Jay Paul Gilbreath brothers, Preston, Sidney, Parker, and Gilbert Stafford; sisters, Mary Hoppe and Joyce Porter. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jeffery Gilbreath and wife Valri of Jacksonville; daughter-in-law, Missi Gilbreath of Mansfield; She is also survived by her twin sister, Anne Hendry of Jacksonville; sister-in-law, Joyce Stafford of Reklaw; and grandsons, Zachary and Zane Gilbreath. Visitation will begin on Monday, August 19, 2019 and friends are cordially invited to visit with Rebecca’s family from 10:30 to 11 o’clock in the morning with services following at 11 o’clock at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Mrs. Gilbreath will be laid to rest at Pleasant Retreat Cemetery in Tyler.
