Richard Wayne Henry of Temple passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019 in a local hospital. He was born in Temple, April 5, 1941, son of the late James Elton Henry and Myrtle Christine Harrison Henry. Mr. Henry was retired from the Family Dollar Stores where he was employed as a Supervisor and was a member of the Center Point United Methodist Church. Survivors include his children, Matthew and Kelly Henry of Bremen, Sherry Dunbar of Rome, Jeff Burchett of Rome; four grandchildren, Brittney Henry, William Henry, Willow Jiles and Noah Henry, all of Bremen. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Services will be Sunday, August 18 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Bryan officiating. Jeremy McWhorter, David Rose and William Henry will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Center Point Cemetery.
