Swinimer, Edward ‘Hammer’ Dale – 59 of Cornwallis, passed away January 12, 2019 in the Halifax Infirmary. Born October 26, 1959, he was the son of Mary Anne and the late Maxwell. Edward was a hardworking, supportive father, who loved his family dearly. He was always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a great love for Broncos and Ford vehicles; and wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. Edward is survived by his partner, Carrie Potter; children, Richard of Cornwallis, Melissa (Mike) of Middleton, Britteny (Travis) of Middleton, and Isabella of Cornwallis; Carrie’s daughters, Gracie and Alexis; grandchildren, Justin, Cole, Alyssa, Xavier, Leneika and Blaze; siblings, Kim (Gary), Blair (Betty), David (Liz) and Steve; step father, Mike Doyle; Anne Swinimer, and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held 7-9pm Thursday, and a funeral service will be held 2pm Friday January 18, 2019, from the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal, with Pastor Herb Anderson officiating.
