Logan Dale Ruckman, 25, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born, December 4, 1993, in Norfolk, Virginia, the son of Daron Dale and Kelly Jo (Peters) Ruckman. He departed this life Friday, August 9, 2019, in Kansas City. Logan was a 2014 Pleasant Hill High School graduate. He enjoyed playing soccer for the Roosters. He was employed at ICF Industries in Pleasant Hill as a Brake Operator working alongside his younger brothers, Connor, and occasionally Paden. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and all sports, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He attended Grace Family Fellowship in Pleasant Hill. Logan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Konrad Peters, and his maternal stepfather, Doyle Schuler. He is survived by his mother, Kelly Ruckman of Pleasant Hill; his father Daron Ruckman of Scottsdale, Arizona; brothers, Connor Ruckman, Keegan Ruckman, and Paden Ruckman, all of Pleasant Hill; his sister, Shannon Ruckman of Pleasant Hill; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Schuler of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; paternal grandparents, Walter and Deanna Ruckman of Holyrood, Kansas; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 17, 2019, at the Grace Family Fellowship church, Pleasant Hill. Reverend Dan Cogan officiated. Cremation was accorded following services. Inurnment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to Cass County Psychological services which helped Logan through troubled times or the American Heart Association as a gift for their assistance in helping his youngest sister when she was young.
