William Wallace Tufts, age 71 of Plainfield, formerly of Naperville, IL, and Canton, MI, passed away, Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Presence St. Joseph Hospital of Joliet. He was born June 29, 1948 in New York City, NY to his late parents, William and Dolores Tufts. Cherished husband of Kathleen A. Tufts, wedded on December 26, 1970. Loving father of Christopher (Kara) Tufts of Aurora, IL and Pamela Tufts of Plainfield, IL. Adored grandpa of Rosalie Tufts. Dearest friend of Bently the dog. Fond brother of Mary Tufts of Rockaway Beach, NY. Bill started his working career for Sears in 1972 as a purchasing agent. After Sears he worked for the Louis Hornick Company as a sales executive. Bill retired from American Blind and Wallpaper, of Plymouth, MI as Vice President of sales and merchandising.
