Lisa A. (Mertz) Wooley, 40, of Larimer, passed away on Friday August 9, 2019. Born November 14, 1978 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Donald A. & Kathleen M. (Simpson) Mertz of Allegheny Township. Lisa was a 1997 graduate of Penn Hills High School, and obtained her Associates Degree in Accounting from CCAC Boyce Campus. She worked as an accountant for EPIC Metals Corporation in Rankin for 16 years, last working in 2018. Lisa was an animal lover, and especially enjoyed her pets. She liked being out in nature, including visiting State Parks. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Marianne Wooley. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Brian J. Wooley; her children whom she adored, Morgan & Jason; sister, Michelle (Doug Peluse) Mertz; nieces, Angela & Olivia; nephew, Nico; father-in-law, Ronald Wooley; sister-in-law, Melissa (Chris) Anawalt; and their son, Nathan. At the family’s requests, all services are private, and have been entrusted to the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Apollo, PA.
