Barbara Gardner Chestertown, Maryland Obituary

Barbara Gardner

Barbara Foreman Gardner was born November 11, 1941, in the Easton, Maryland area to Mr. Louis Foreman and Mrs. Pearl Foreman. She had several brothers and sisters, one of whom was her twin Betty, who she fondly talked about often. Barbara was a happy person, who always sang. She would sing for anyone who asked. She sang many gospel hymns, including her two favorites, Precious Lord Take My Hand and Amazing Grace. She would always lead the morning prayer and say grace before breakfast, lunch and dinner. Barbara worked. She loved to fold clothing and make beds; she could make a PERFECT bed. Barbara was preceded in death by most of her family, but leaves to cherish her memory, two brothers, Dawson Foreman, who lives in Chestertown, Maryland and Lewis Foreman, who lives in Snow Hill, Maryland. Also left to remember Barbara, are her “new family” that she acquired at Our Home in the Country 2, where she has resided for the past six years. Barbara will be missed as memories of her are shared in conversations at the home.
