Georgia Rich, 75, of West Frankfort, Illinois, passed away Sunday August 11, 2019 in her residence at 12:30p.m. Georgia was born January 2, 1944 in West Frankfort, Illinois to Alfred and Katherine (Faulk) Stanley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Joe Rich, Sr.; daughter, Darla Kaye Rich; parents; sister, Minnie Jones; brother, Robert Stanley; grandchildren, Charles and Brett Michael. Georgia is survived by her sons: Jerry Rich, Jr., Alfred (Blanca) Rich, Harold (Charlee) Rich, Opie (Jayma) Rich, and Glenn Rich; daughter, Debra (Tim) Willmore; Gina Rich (Justin) whom she helped raise; brothers: Bud, Lloyd, and Oley Stanley; sisters: Alfreda Zimmer, Venita (Greg) Flanigan, Robin (Danny) Coble, Liz Hawkins, Florine Treadway, and Nora Craig; twenty grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00p.m. on Wednesday August 14, 2019 at the Union Funeral Home – West Frankfort, Illinois with Charles Brookhouse officiating. Burial will be in Denning Cemetery on the Orient Road. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00p.m. prior to the service.
