Joan A. Cook, 78 of Danvers, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal. Joan’s service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 11:30am at Otto-Argo-Calvert Funeral Home, Danvers, with Pastor Tiffany Black officiating. Following the service burial will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery, Danvers. Visitation will be held from 10:30am-11:30am at the funeral home in Danvers. Memorials may be made to the West Olive Faith United Methodist Church. Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements. Joan was born on May 20, 1941 in Jewett City, Connecticut to Lloyd and Emily Mager Cook. Joan is survived by her sister, Barbara Stubblefield, Mackinaw; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Joan was a member of West Olive Faith United Methodist Church and worked at Heritage Manor in Normal. Joan loved to flower garden and vegetable garden. She enjoyed sharing her harvest of vegetables with her neighbors and friends. Joan will be deeply missed by her family.
