He was born February 2, 1938 to Gordon and Dossie Allen. <br /><br />He is survived by his wife, Joyce Allen of Talking Rock; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Wanda Allen of White; grandchildren, Kyle and Sarah Allen of Adairsville; great granddaughter, Anna Allen. <br /><br />Mr. Allen is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Dossie Allen and son, Ricky Allen.<br /><br />The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home and Crematory Monday, August 12, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. <br /><br />Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 12, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in the Roper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jess Posey officiating. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.<br /><br />The family request no food be brought to the funeral home. <br /><br />Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory. <br />February 2, 1938 - August 10, 201902/02/193808/10/2019
