Online condolences may be made at www.harnessfuneralhome.com Manley was born to Manley Otto and Ella Marie (Carter) Plymell on October 3, 1940, in Fort Lupton Colorado. He graduated from Fort Lupton High School in 1959. Following graduation, he traveled around Colorado as a combine operator, this job helped his support him, as his parents had passed away. He married Ruby Joan Dowdy, and to this union two children were born, David and Kristi. Manley and Joan were later divorced but remained close friends. He owned and operated RJ Miles, an auto parts store in Fort Lupton until he moved to Wyoming in 1981. He moved back to Greeley, Colorado where he was the manager at a welding supply store until his retirement in 2005. Tragically, in 2013, his son, David passed away in a motorcycle accident. He left a void that could not be filled and is sorely missed. Shortly following David’s death, Manley’s health began to decline, his family helped move him to Banner. Manley was a very private man. He loved his family and his dog, Layla. He was an accomplished welder and mechanic. He enjoyed traveling, especially Taos, New Mexico. Fishing and activities with his grandkids were things he enjoyed. He is survived by his daughter, Kristi Gleason of Banner; five grandchildren: Kendra Main with fiancé Justin Bleak, Cory Main, Kyle Gleason, Nathan and his wife Kourtni Plymell and Jena and her huband Tyler Kelsey; and five great-grandchildren; and brother, Rodney. Manley was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother, and son, David Plymell.
