Waynalea Salisbury

Waynalea Salisbury, 66, a former resident of Valley Head, and for the past several years, a resident of Nella’s Nursing Home, passed from this life Friday, August 9, 2019, at the nursing home. Waynalea was born Friday, October 10, 1952, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Wayne Edward Salisbury and Marylea Waggy Salisbury. She was never married. Besides her parents, Waynalea was preceded in death by her only sister, Bernice Mae Brown. Left to cherish Waynalea’s memory is one nephew, Jerald Dean Brown and wife Debbie, of Valley Bend; one niece, Christa Deann Licwov and husband Vincent, of East Dailey; one great-nephew, J.D. Brown, two great-nieces, Allison Deann Channell and husband Aaron and Madison Leann Licwov and fiancé, Hunter Carr, one great-great-nephew, Elliott Matthew Channell, and one brother in law, Jerry Dean Brown of Ohio. Due to physical limitations, Waynalea wasn’t able to attend school, but she stilled learned many things throughout her life. She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, working on craft projects, making potholders, and being outdoors. She also enjoyed attending church with her family. A graveside service will be held at Swecker Cemetery at Brady Gate on Thursday, August 15, 2019, at 11 AM. Rev Leon Brown will officiate and interment will follow.
