Timothy “Tim” Eugene Hatchett, 59, of Hickory passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Frye Regional Medical Center. He was born December 17, 1959 in Catawba County to the late James Peter Hatchett Jr. and Rebecca Moose Hatchett. Tim was a member of First Baptist Church in Newton. Those left to cherish his memory are; Son: Timothy Logan Hatchett of Asheville Daughter: Amber Dawn Hatchett of Asheville Brothers: Jim Hatchett III and wife Della of Taylorsville Chris Hatchett of Taylorsville Sisters: Margaret Wilkes of Iron Station Pam Stroud and husband Kelly of Hickory Joyce Bunn and husband Dana of Fletcher Kathy McSwain and husband Chris of Hickory A memorial service to celebrate Tim’s life will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Newton.
