Warner Robins, GA., GA- Larry E. Strait., 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 6, 2019. Funeral Services will be private. Larry was born on October 3, 1937, in Perry, Iowa. He proudly, faithfully and honorably served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force. After retiring from the service he later went to work for the United States Post Office and retired after 25 years. He loved the outdoors. You would find him in the woods hunting or on the lake fishing. His favorite past time was tinkering on many different things. Larry was a faithful choir member and usher at Robins Air Force Base Chapel. He was a loving, husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be missed. His memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife of 57 years, Ellen Strait, Warner Robins; 2 sons, David Strait, Byron; Mark Strait (Melanie), Simpsonville, South Carolina; 2 grandsons, Michael Strait and Benjamin Strait and 1 sister, Sherry Dorman, Iowa.
