Margaret C. Popp (nee Connell), filled a spot in the soprano section of Heaven’s Choir, on August 6, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard W. Popp. She is the loving mother of Donna, Debra and Dianne (Raymond). She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren Kinslee (Jay), Kerryn (Jarod), Kara, great grandchildren James, Ezra, Noah, Scarlett, Merek and dear friends. She graduated from Frankford High School in 1945. Peggy was the choir director and organist at Hermon Presbyterian Church, Berachah Church and Elkins Park Presbyterian Church. Relatives and friends are invited to greet her family Thursday, August 15, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Bethesda Presbyterian Church 808 Red Lion Road Philadelphia, PA 19115. Her Celebration of Life Service will follow at 10:00 am at the church. Interment will be private at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Peggy’s name to Neighborhood Crusades 4934 Greene Street Philadelphia, PA 19114 or Wycliffe Bible Translators PO Box 628200 Orlando, FL 32862 would be appreciated.
