Alfred L. Gitre Fenton, MI His Legacy…Alfred Gitre, age 71, passed away, August 6, 2019. Alfred was born in Howell, MI on August 11, 1947 to Norman and Clara (Wilcox) Gitre. He married the love of his life, Lillie Rasegan in 1970 in Howell, MI. Alfred worked for GM for many years and was an archery instructor for the Junior Olympic Archery Development students. He loved to bow hunt and enjoyed playing cards with his friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandson. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His Family…Alfred will be missed by his wife, Lillie; daughter, Sasha; grandson, Szandor; nieces Renee Jara and Tina Rasegan, nephew Lester Gitre, Jr.; cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Clara, and brother Lester Gitre, Sr. His Farewell…Alfred’s family and friends will gather on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 3:00-7:00PM, followed by his Community Farewell at 7:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Lamb Chapel. Jack & I are so sorry to hear about Al. We have been on vacation since August 2 & just got home (12:30 am, Sunday, Aug. 11. Love to all. I know a little guy who will miss his grandpa ALOT.
