Carolyn Alfreda Damron
Carolyn Alfreda Damron, 76, went to be with her heavenly Father on August 6, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Damron was born May 1, 1943 in Winchester, Tennessee to Stephen King & Delton Marie Bennett. She spent her nursing career between hospitals and Alzheimer units. She enjoyed watching the Braves, playing cards and spending time with family. Mrs. Damron is survived by her sons, Shannon Jackson (Cathy) and Dr. Giles Damron (Amanda). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shane Terry, Dustin Jackson (Kalie) and Julianna Damron. Also leaves behind a brother, Steve and sister, Ethel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Damron. Services will be held Friday, August 9, 2019 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Visitation is from 10 am until 12 pm. Services begins at 12 pm with internment at Mt. Carmel.
