Henry “Hank” Huder, 84, formerly of Carmel, passed away on August 5, 2019. He was born on November 14, 1934 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Dillon and Helen Oakes Huder. He was a graduate of Hanover College and also proud of his association with the Fiji/Phi Gamma Delta Sires and Sons. Hank served proudly in the United States Army. Hank loved the water and was a life long boater. In his youth, he raced hydroplane boats. Hank especially loved his many years of boating and spending summers on Torch Lake in Michigan with his wife Carol and all of his family. Hank always enjoyed having a dog in his life. He would often carry treats in his pocket. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Carol Huder, his son, Dr. Steven W. (Jennifer) Huder, his daughter, Karen H. (Scott) Crawford, his grandchildren, Claire and Carl Huder, Cameron and Rachael Crawford, Dylan and Caelan Cooper and his great granddaughter, Melani Bigham. A Memorial Visitation will be on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church, 381N. Bluff Rd., Greenwood, IN, followed by a Service at 3:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Favorite Charity. Arrangements have been entrusted to G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home.
