Doyle Junior Joyce, age 82, of Cedar Bluff, VA passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in Bristol, TN. He was a member of the Belfast Full Gospel Church. He was a retired Colonel with the US Army and also a retired truck driver with Kroger and MXI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Joyce, Sr.; two sons, Kim Joyce and Keith Joyce; one brother, Estil Joyce. Doyle is survived by his loving wife, Linda Joyce; two sons, Rodney Joyce of Richlands, VA and Chris Joyce of Fort Wayne, IN; two adopted grandchildren, Samantha Joyce of Fort Wayne, IN and Johnathan Hamilton of Cedar Bluff, VA; two step-children, James Salyers and wife Leslie of Abingdon, VA and Kenneth Salyers of Pocahontas, VA; one step-grandson, Roman Zane Salyers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, VA. Funeral Services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at the Singleton Funeral Service Chapel with Brother Danny Altizer officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum at Claypool Hill, VA. Pallbearers will be family.
