James Joseph Moneypenny, of Brighton, Colorado, born on February 14, 1948 in Denver, Colorado, to the late Louise Kois, and James O Moneypenny. He entered into eternity at age 71 on July 13, 2019. James attended Brighton Senior High. He was married to Francy Crittenden. James served in the Army from 1967 to 1970 and was a Vietnam Nam War veteran. He also worked in the Retail industry as a store manager. He retired in 1983. James is survived by his son, James Moneypenny (Wendy); a daughter, Debbra (Darrell) Erwin. He also has five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Brothers surviving are, Gary (Diane) Moneypenny and Joseph (Rebecca) Kois. Sisters are: Georgine Isaac (Jim), Carol Moneypenny, Judith Grotz, and Shirley (Les) Allen. He loved solitaire, walking for exercise & jigsaw puzzles. Friends and family can pay their respects at the funeral service, officiated by Tony DeLorenzo, on Tuesday July 23, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Aspen Mortuary, 6580 East 73rd Avenue, Commerce City, Colorado, 80022. Viewing will be from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the Chapel at the Mortuary on July 23rd before the service.
