Annie Walton, 95, of Hartford, departed this life at home, Sunday, June 30, 2019. She was born in Jacksonville, FL to the late Cora Lee and Willie Taylor and has been a Hartford resident for over 80 years. Annie retired from Hartford Hospital and served as president of the tenants association at WestBrook Village for many years. She was predeceased by her daughter Janet Williams; two sisters, Ollie Wheller and Ada Nelson; and her grandson Andre T. Oates. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Marcia A. Williams; her granddaughter Kathleen Walton; her grandsons Louis Lawson Jr., Marcus Lawson, Trevor Williams, Neville Williams and Paris Oates; her great-grandchildren, Kianna Sache Oates, Paris Melody Oates, Andre Oates, Jamai Oates and Koran Oates; her great-great-grandchildren, Tahnea Easterling, Nylin Richardson, Logan Lawson and Louis Lawson,III; and a special niece Linda Nasser. A homegoing service will be held at 12 PM Friday, July 12 at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave Windsor, followed by burial in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Her family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 AM to 12 PM.
