BARBARA MIDDLETON, a resident of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, was born October 14, 1945 in Nuremberg, Germany, a daughter of Renee (Mueller). She departed this life Saturday, December 15, 2012 in Springdale, Arkansas, at the age of 67 years. Barbara worked part-time as a secretary for Crye-Leike Real Estate. She was a member of the Westside Baptist Church, AARP and VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by four step-children and their families, Dewey Duane Middleton of Green Forest, AR, Richard Middleton of Idaho, Debbie Middleton of Fayetteville, AR and Lisa Smith of Hindsville, AR; one sister-in-law, Gladys Botner of Berryville, AR; one niece, Gloria and husband John Crawford and family of Eureka Springs, AR; several other relatives and friends. On February 23, 1973, Barbara was united in marriage with Alva D. (Duke) Middleton, Jr. who preceded her in death. She is also preceded by her mother, Renee Mueller and her father. Graveside memorial service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Dean Smith officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
