ROCK FALLS – Jack Eich, age 81, died Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Serenity Hospice House in Oregon.
Jack was born on September 29, 1944 in Mendota the son of Theodore and Erna (Radtke) Eich. He married Emelda Letemplier on October 28, 2005 in Morrison. Jack owned and operated Budget Electric for over 20 years. He loved to dance, ride his bike, traveling and attending Blues Festivals.
Survivors include his wife Emelda of Rock Falls; 3 sons, Scott Eich of New Hampshire, Erik Eich of Davenport, IA and Jesse (Heather) Eich of Preston, IA; 3 step-sons, Robert (Karen Scheel) Lavallee of Vancouver, BC, Roger (Rolanda) Lavallee and Leon Lavallee both of St Johns, New Foundland; 1 sister, Sue (Dan) Shirey of Peru.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were completed by the McDonald Funeral Home, Rock Falls.
