Alvin F. Stevenson, age 85 of Ball Ground, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026.
Survivors include: Wife, Rita Stevenson of Marble Hill, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Harley Knudsen of Norwalk, OH; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Katie Stevenson of Fairfield, OH; stepchildren, Eddie and Kay Ray of Marble Hill, GA, Ken and Brandi Ray of Peoria, AZ, Tina and Lanny Lusk of Jasper, GA, and Tammy and Barry Cambron of Canton, GA; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Al was preceded in death by his wife Bertha Cannon Stevenson.
Services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, July 28, 2026 from the chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Rev. Robby Lusk officiating. The interment will follow in the Lake Forest Memorial Park: 280 Camp Road, Jasper, GA 30143.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00am until 8:00pm and Tuesday from 9:00am until the funeral hour.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
