Ana Hilda Maldonado, 81 years old, of Somers Point, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Ana was born on July 7, 1945 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Filiberto Sierra and Laudalina Alomar.

Ana was a devoted Christian who deeply believed in the word of God. She believed that if you let God into your life, everything will be ok. She gave without reward. She loved to cook and feed everybody. She was a loving wife and a caring parent. Ana especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Most importantly, she loved all her family and friends unconditionally. Anybody that met her can feel that she just had a genuine loving soul. She was truly an Angel walking on Earth.

Ana is survived by her husband, Nelson Maldonado; her children, David Gonzalez, Vanessa Gonzalez and Andrew Gonzalez; her grandchildren, (children of David) Adrian, Gabriel, Magdalena and Jacob, (children of Vanessa) Michael, Chelsea, Natalia and Angelee, (children of Andrew) Javier, Alijah, Josev, Xavier, Marcus, Michael and Xavien; great grandchildren, (child of Adrian) Shay, (children of Chelsea) Harmony, Kehlani and Payton, (children of Natalia) Catalina and Amari, (child of Angelee) Tykavion. Ana is also survived by her siblings, Luis Ismael Sierra, Heriberto Sierra, Maria Angelica Sierra and Hector Ivan Sierra.

Ana was preceded in death by her siblings, Maria Cecilia Carbonell, Ana Adela De Santiago and Iris Sierra.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, public visitation from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with a 1:00pm service at Linwood Community Church, 1838 Shore Road, Linwood, N.J. 08221
