Brian C. Hatland, 62, of Ottawa, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Brian was born on January 31, 1964 in Chicago. The son of Clifford and Gloria (Valentinsen) Hatland. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, was a carpenter for many years and currently was employed with the Carpenters Local 1889. He loved fishing, classic cars, riding his Harley, his greatest joy was being around his kids, granddaughters, and family.
He is survived by his mother, Gloria Hatland of DeKalb; a daughter, Kristin Hatland of Plano; a son, Jonathan Hatland of Sandwich; two granddaughters, Kenzie Cameron, Chevelle Hatland; a sister, Diane Hatland of Arlington Heights; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Hatland.
