Christie Cassell Eash Obituary

Christie Cassel Eash, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, mentor, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on October 4, 1968, in Griffin, Georgia, Christie lived a life defined by faith, strength, kindness, and an unwavering love for her family and friends. She touched countless lives through her leadership, generosity, and genuine care for others. Whether as a mentor, colleague, friend, or family member, Christie had a remarkable gift for making people feel seen, valued, supported, and loved.

Her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife to Steve Eash, a loving mother to Jordan White and Jake Eash, and a proud "Mimi," whose grandchildren brought immeasurable joy to her life. For nearly two decades, Christie faced cancer with extraordinary courage, determined to be present for life's most meaningful moments and milestones. Her resilience, hope, and steadfast faith inspired everyone who knew her.

A respected leader in the multifamily housing industry, Christie built a distinguished career marked by integrity, excellence, and a passion for mentoring others. Throughout her decades of leadership, she encouraged, supported, and inspired countless colleagues and friends.

While Christie accomplished much professionally, she will be remembered most for the way she loved. She opened her home, her heart, and her life to others with remarkable generosity. She celebrated life's joys with enthusiasm, stood faithfully beside those facing hardship, and had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcomed, accepted, and important. Her beautiful smile, contagious laugh, wise counsel, and generous spirit will be deeply missed.

Christie is survived by her husband, Steve Eash; her daughter, Jordan White, and son-in-law, Michael White; her grandchildren, Connor White and Adelyn White; her son, Jake Eash, and daughter-in-law, Lindsay Eash; and her granddaughter, Alice Eash.

She is also survived by her stepdaughters, Jody Stephens and Jennifer Ulrich; her grandchildren, Caden Stephens, Abby Stephens, Clara Call, Robert Johnson, Steven Johnson, and William Johnson; her father, Ronnie Cassell, and stepmother, Jody Cassell; her mother, Patricia Cassell; her sister, Julie Pollan; and many beloved extended family members, dear friends, and cherished colleagues.

A celebration of Christie's life will be held at a later date at a location to be announced.
