Patrick H. Leary, 81, of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and laughter.

Patrick was born on December 2, 1944, in Merrill, Wisconsin, to DeForest and Alda (Miller) Leary. He graduated from Medford Senior High School in 1963 before proudly serving his country in the United States Army from 1964 to 1967, where he worked in Communications before cross-training as a Quartermaster.

Patrick married Beverly Hall in 1964, and together they had four children. On August 22, 2008, he married Henrietta Boos Niesen, who survives him.

He is survived by his children, Patrick Jr. (Natalie), Jim (Michelle), Chris (Deanna), and Allyson (Jonathan); his stepchildren, Kimberly Boos and Korry (Tanya) Boos; his grandchildren, Brooke (Josh), Logan, Elizabeth, Jimmy (Alisa), Sophia, and Saylor; his step-grandchildren, Jonathan Jr., Kaine, Kalon, and Kaiden Boos; his sister, Ellen (Jim) Borman; his brother, Michael (Becky Tylka) Leary; many cherished nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Sammy and BB.

He was preceded in death by his parents, DeForest and Alda Leary, and his siblings Raymond, Milan, Bernadine, Barbara, Shirley, Danny, and John Leary.

Patrick worked for many years as a dispatcher with Nuendorf Transportation before relocating to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where he later worked as a casino night manager until his retirement. He eventually returned home to Wisconsin.

Patrick will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, warm smile, and easygoing spirit. He found joy in nature, loved taking scenic drives, enjoyed the game of golf, and was a lifelong, devoted Green Bay Packers fan. Above all, he cherished spending time with family and friends.

Patrick's legacy is one of laughter, resilience, service to his country, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 30, at the Celebration of Life Center, 1717 Devney Drive, Altoona, Wisconsin. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:00 noon. Lunch will follow the service.
