Irene LaBiche Stevens, 91, passed away on July 23, 2026 at 5:00 AM. Born August 19, 1934, she was a native of Lydia and longtime resident of Schriever.

Friends and family will be received at Saint Bridget Catholic Church on Monday, July 27, 2026 from 9:30 AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 11:00 AM at with burial following in the church cemetery.

Irene is survived by her sons, Mark Stevens and wife Elva, Blair Stevens and wife Cindy; daughters, Susan Tisdale, Yvette Lirette, Nadine Reid and husband Dennis, Charisse Stevens, and Wynette DeFelice and husband Todd; grandchildren, Derek Stevens, Sr., Shelly Stevens, Amanda Flannery, Lance Trahan, Blair Stevens, Jr., Gavin Stevens, Colt Stevens, Trace Stevens, Jason Stevens, Gared Stevens, Marty Stevens, Jr., Blake Stevens, Amber Stevens, Courtney Stone, Randy Tisdale, Jr., Kayla Eschete, Kacie Scivicque, Lindsey Naquin, Drake Strother, Brittany Griffin, Brooke Paray, Madison DeFelice; 40 plus great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gared Stevens; sons, Falan Stevens and Marty Stevens; parents, Ella Tate and Willis LaBiche; grandchildren, Candice Martin, Blaine Faslund; brother, Bevlin "Jim" LaBiche.

She enjoyed sewing, bingo, reading, quarter machines and playing on her Ipad.
