Sandra Marie Lynch of Holland, NY passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at her home at the age of 85.

She was born on January 21, 1941, in Buffalo, NY and was the daughter of the late James Vernon and Isabel (Stenson) Gunn.

Sandra was a 1959 graduate of Arcade Central School. Following graduation, she earned a nursing scholarship and, upon completing nursing school, began her career as a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, where she was known for her compassionate care and dedication to her patients. Her caring nature extended beyond her profession into her cherished role as a homemaker, where she devoted herself to nurturing her family and was always happiest when cooking for those she loved.

Sandra is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Terrence P. Lynch, whom she married on August 4, 1962. She is also survived by her children, Terrence (Jodi) Lynch, Jr., Kelleen (Randolph) Kensy, Eric (Bridgett) Lynch, Dawn (Terry) Smith, David (Colleen) Lynch, and Daryle (Joy) Lynch; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Maureen Kita, and her brother, James Gunn.

In keeping with Sandra's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family, with final interment in S.S. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Arcade at a later date.
