Rosalie Furr, age 94 of Weston WV, passed away peacefully at her home on July 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.She was born on April 6, 1932 in Gilmer County, the daughter of the late C.H. Vanhorn and Lorena Vanhorn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim.

Rose is survived by her daughter Faith (Jim) Postalwait, son Jeff (Mary) Furr; her three grandchildren, Tom Postalwait, Tyler Furr and Ryan Furr; and three great grandchildren, Paige Postalwait-Frankert, KJ Furr, and Carson Furr. She is also survived by her primary caregiver and confidant for the past 9 years, Shelly Foisia-Shaw.

Rose cherished spending time with her family and enjoyed watching WVU football and basketball, NBA games and quilting. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Friday, July 24th, 2026 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with funeral services following from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mark Evans officiating.
