Amanda N Gunsaulies-Ratliff Obituary

Amanda Nichole Gunsaulies-Ratliff, 28, passed away on July 19th, 2026.

Amanda was born on September 6, 1997, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to Don A. Ratliff and Jeannie Hobbs.

Amanda attended Urbana High School, where she enjoyed playing both basketball and softball. She later continued her education at Clark State College, earning her associate’s degree.

Amanda had a love for working on cars and was never afraid of hard work. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a kind heart, and a caring spirit that touched the lives of those around her. She enjoyed watching sports, spending time outdoors with her children at the park, and was their biggest supporter, proudly cheering them on at their sporting events. Above all else, Amanda's greatest joy in life was being a mother. She dearly loved her children, and they were the center of her world.

She is survived by her loving parents, Don A. Ratliff and Jeannie (Todd Adams) Hobbs; her beloved daughter, Ava Rae; her son, Byron T.; her grandparents, Henni and Danny Yoder; her brother, Alexander Addison Ratliff; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Amanda was welcomed into eternal rest by her grandparents, Frank Addison Ratliff, Julia Salyer Ratliff, Ronald Hobbs, and David Sprinkle.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. in VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana Ohio, on Wednesday July 22nd with Pastor Jeremy Spence officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
