C. Arlene Gordon Obituary
C. Arlene Gordon, 84, of Mount Vernon went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 17, 2026 at Danbury Senior Living of Mount Vernon. She was born on February 26, 1942 to Virgil Carl and Clara Rachel (Ridenour) Kauffung in Hamilton, OH.
Arlene enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. She loved nature. Arlene enjoyed feeding the birds and watching the deer and raccoons. She had been known to befriend raccoons from time to time. Arlene also loved her cats that she had over the years. She was a very caring, giving and loving person. The most important thing was her family, she always wanted to know how everyone was doing and what they were involved with.
Arlene is survived by her children; a son CJ (Gail) Gordon of Mount Vernon, OH and a daughter Carla Neider of Youngstown, OH; two grandchildren Matthew (Rachael) Gordon and Ian Elliott.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband Charles “Chuck” R. Gordon and her parents.
In keeping with Arlene’s wishes there will be no services.
