LARRY R. BUSH, 82, of Morrison, IL, died Friday, July 17, 2026, at his home.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Morrison, IL. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison. A memorial has been established to Bethesda Lutheran Church.

Larry was born on September 20, 1943, in Morrison, IL, to Robert W. and Bernita L. (Schumacher) Bush. He was educated in the rural South Clyde Grade School and graduated from Morrison High School with the Class of 1961. On December 7, 1962, he married Ruth L. Crumbacher in Morrison, IL. They shared their lives for over 52 years before her passing on March 31, 2015. Larry worked for Goodenough Dairy, Bull Lumber, and Quality Ready-Mix, all in Morrison. In addition to those occupations, he was a lifelong farmer. Farming was more than a career to Larry—he truly loved it. He was especially passionate about making hay and was well known for doing custom hay farming for many neighbors throughout the area. He was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Morrison.

Survivors include two daughters, Dawn Bush and Lori Bush both of Morrison, IL; one son, Jonathon (Rhonda) Bush of Morrison, IL; four grandchildren, Nicole (Clint) Shepard, Amanda Suarez, Brian (Jennifer) Suarez, and Aubrey Bush; five great-grandchildren, Caiden and Carson Becker, Branson Shepard, Tulsa Grant, and Tex Suarez; one sister, Carol Stadler-Brandt (H. Gary Snipes) of Manning, SC; one brother, Rodney Bush of Morrison, IL; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; and his faithful dog, Pearl.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth; one daughter, Robin Bush; and his parents.
