Some people leave behind memories. Brandon left behind stories, laughter, friendships, and a legacy of helping others. He lived with quiet humility, remarkable intelligence, and an adventurous spirit that inspired everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Brandon passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 43. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Tracy.

Brandon met the love of his life, Christina, in April 2009. From the beginning, they built a relationship rooted in friendship, laughter, and adventure. They were married on February 11, 2012, and together created a home filled with unconditional love and a family of beloved dogs and cats. Whether they were relaxing at home or setting off on a spontaneous adventure, Brandon’s favorite place was wherever Christina was. He was her greatest love, best friend, and partner in every sense of the word.

Brandon devoted nearly two decades of his career to Edwards Air Force Base. He began working on base as a contractor in 2006 before joining the government workforce at Ridley Mission Control in 2009 as a Data Production Analyst. Through his extraordinary knowledge, dedication, and leadership, he eventually became the Flight Chief of Data Production Analysis.

To Brandon, leadership was never about rank or title. He was a mentor, a teacher, and someone his team could always count on—not only for help with work, but for guidance through life’s challenges. Even as Flight Chief, he loved stepping into the control rooms to work alongside his team, answer questions, and teach others. Watching someone else learn and succeed brought him genuine happiness because he believed knowledge was meant to be shared.

Brandon possessed one of those rare minds that could solve problems others thought impossible. He earned his Master of Science in Software Engineering in 2018, an accomplishment he was incredibly proud of. Despite his remarkable intelligence, he remained humble. He never made anyone feel less knowledgeable. Instead, he patiently shared what he knew, encouraged those around him, and celebrated the success of others as much as his own.

He is survived by his loving wife, Christina, and his sister, Toni.

To those who met Brandon casually, he often seemed quiet, calm, and level-headed. But those fortunate enough to truly know him discovered someone entirely different. He had an incredible sense of humor, a quick wit, and a vibrant personality that could fill a room with laughter. Once Brandon let you in, you had a loyal friend for life.

He believed life was meant to be experienced. Brandon loved going to concerts and punk rock festivals and rarely turned down an opportunity for an adventure. If someone suggested a road trip, a concert, or simply trying something new, Brandon was almost always the first to say yes. He believed you only get one life to live and made the most of every opportunity to create memories with the people he loved.

Brandon will not be remembered simply for the positions he held or the degrees he earned. He will be remembered for the way he made people feel. He led with kindness, taught with patience, loved without reservation, laughed often, and gave freely of himself. He made friends feel like family, coworkers feel supported, and strangers feel welcome. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the knowledge he shared, the adventures he embraced, and the love he gave so freely. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made will be carried forward by everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.

I would often ask Brandon, “Who’s my babe?” Without missing a beat, he would smile and answer, “Me.”
