Madison Paige Lortie Obituary
Lortie, Madison … Passed away suddenly at home, in Trenton on July 10, 2026 at the age of 32 years. Loving daughter of Mike Lortie and the late Mary-Anne Richards. Cherished sister of Cassandra Lortie (Matt). Madison was a devoted aunt who adored her nieces and nephews Chenelle (14), Charlotte (8), Christopher (5), Claire (3), and Cameron (2). She spoke about them with immense pride, treasured every moment she spent with them, and loved watching them grow up. They brought her endless joy and will forever carry the love she had for each of them.
She will be deeply missed by her Nanny, her Aunt’s Christine, Carrie and Earla, Uncle’s Larry and Brian, her cousins Matthew (Katrina), Kyle (Allison), Matthew, Melissa, Christa, Amanda, Nichole, Jerrica, Tamara and Rosey, as well as lifelong friends whose lives were made brighter by knowing her. She is predeceased by her mother, Mary-Anne, her beloved Bebo, Aunt Elaine, Uncle Jim, and her nephew Tysson, whom she held close to her heart.
Madison had a kind and compassionate heart and was always willing to care for others before herself. She had an incredible sense of humour that could make anyone laugh, even during difficult times. She found joy in music, loved getting lost in her favourite television shows and expressed herself through her writing. Whether sharing a laugh, or offering comfort to someone in need, Madison had a way of making people feel seen, valued and loved.
Respecting Madison’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date by her sister Cassandra and caring family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Foundation, Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation and or the family at a later time would be greatly appreciated to help contribute to the celebration and memorial site.
Online condolences and cherished memories may be shared with the family through Weavers Family Funeral Home (Trenton). All pictures are welcome.
Though her time with us was far too short, Madison’s kindness, laughter, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
"Will be loved forever" - Dad
"I am so proud to be your sister. Life won't be the same without you here, but I will keep chasing dreams the way you always encouraged me to do" - Love big sis, Cassandra Lortie
