MS. Hattie Bell Durham, 76, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, peacefully transitioned from this life on Monday, July 13, 2026.

Born on December 10, 1949, she was the beloved daughter of the late Milton Durham and Marion Young Durham. A proud graduate of Bryson High School, Class of 1968, Miss Durham was known for her warm spirit, quiet strength, and love for her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, grace, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving daughters, Buffy Marian McFadden of Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Africa Wright of Greenville, South Carolina; one brother, Kenneth Durham (Cynthia) of Simpsonville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Braylon Tamir Dotson, Nicholas Jaden Williams, Jacob Logan Blane McFadden, and Sarah Elizabeth McFadden; one niece, Marion Meshell Williams; nephews, Elias Edward Durham, James Christopher Durham, and Derrick Tyrone Durham; along with a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

A Public Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Simpsonville, South Carolina.

Interment will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.

Services have been entrusted to the professional care of Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville Chapel.
