Carole Ann Galvin Obituary

Carole Ann Galvin, 77, of Egg Harbor Township.

Carole Ann Galvin passed away peacefully at home with her family. She was a loving, adoring wife to James W. Galvin Sr for 58 years. Carole was dedicated to her four children. She committed her life and did absolutely everything for her family. She was the rock of the Galvin family. Early in her life she worked at Lennox China; once she had her children her dedication was to her home and her children. She held part-time positions at Zaberer’s and ShopRite, always coming back to the job she loved the most- being a mom. In 1980 she began her career as a school bus driver for Egg Harbor Township school district; this was much more than a career - for 32 years she touched the lives of so many EHT families. To this day, Mrs. Galvin is a household name. Carole volunteered for the Egg Harbor Township Cardiff Ladies Auxiliary Fire Department for over 50 years. During these years she diligently supported our township fire fighters.

Carole is predeceased by her son James W. Galvin, Jr. Also by her Father and Mother; William and Violet Enterkin and by her brother Bill Enterkin.

Survived by her 3 daughters: Tina Marie (Jeff), Terri Lynn( Chris) and Tammy Lee.

Carole’s favorite title of her life was “Grammy” and she leaves behind her most treasured humans, her grandchildren: Haley Marie, Gianna Nikkol , Angelina Marie and grandson Ryan James.

Carole was loved by so many and leaves behind her sister Jeanne McCaw (Mike), nephew Tony and Dee many other cherished Nieces and Nephews and so many friends that she considered family.

In honor of Carole, the family requests that if anyone wishes to make a donation in her memory, that it be placed to the Cardiff Fire Department and Women's Auxiliary in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
