Allen Fisher Obituary
Roy Allen Fisher, 65, of Weston went home to be with his Lord on Monday, July 13th, 2026 in WVU-Ruby Memorial Hospital of Morgantown, WV following courageous battle. He was born in Weston on August 15th, 1960: son of the late Roy Harlan Fisher and Bonnie A. (Harter) Fisher. On August 18th, 1978, he married Kim (Riffle) Fisher.
Cherishing Allen’s life is his loving wife, Kim, daughter: Casey Brown and husband Ben of Jane Lew, son: Nick Fisher and wife Jackie of Buckhannon, 7 grandchildren: Cole, Maria and Stephanie Brown and Gavin, Dylan, Holdyn and Tyson Fisher, uncle: Ron and Gwen Fisher and several cousins.
Allen was a retired custodian for the Lewis County Board of Education. He was a graduate of Lewis County High School with the class of 1978. Allen loved the outdoors, where he would camp and hunt and volunteer at Holly River State Park. His neighbors would often see him patrolling the neighborhood on his side-by-side. Allen never knew a stranger and will be missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue of Weston, WV on Thursday, July 16th, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr and Pastor Ceaira Riley officiating. Interment will follow services in Peterson Cemetery of Weston, WV. Online condolences and life stories in memory of Allen maybe expressed at hardmanfamilyfuneralhome.com.
