Frank Randolph was born April 26, 1929 in Indianola, Iowa. He passed away peacefully at home on July 13, 2026.

Frank graduated from North High School. He never attended college, he lived by the motto, “There is more than one way to get an education.” He proudly served in the United States Air Force for fifteen months and met his wife, Barbara Keltner, while home on leave. They were married in 1953 and together raised three children: one daughter, Lynne, and two sons, Christopher and Scott.

Frank built a long career with Farm Bureau, beginning as an adjuster and eventually retiring as a Claims Manager. During his career he served as an instructor, teaching claim handling for the Insurance Institute of America. He also served as President of the Iowa Casualty and Surety Claim Association.

Frank found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved reading novels, listening to jazz music from the 1940s and 1950s, attending classic car shows, watching Chicago Cubs baseball, meeting friends for coffee, spending time with his family, and relaxing at his cabin in Clear Lake.

Frank is survived by his daughter, Lynne Gabus; son, Christopher; granddaughter, Kelsey (Kenton) McBride and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; his son, Scott, his son in law; Gene, and granddaughter; Katelyn.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Food Bank of Iowa.
